Air Europa resumes its daily frequency to Santo Domingo and increases flights to Bogota

Air Europa recovers this week the operations it had before the pandemic on its route to Santo Domingo by also incorporating Wednesdays into its flight plan and operating daily between Madrid and the capital of the Dominican Republic.

The increase in frequencies and the restart of routes is due to the airline’s objective of gradually expanding and reestablishing its operations as mobility restrictions are lifted and an upward trend in demand is observed.

Air Europa’s programming in the Dominican Republic currently includes, in addition to the daily flight to Santo Domingo, two weekly flights (Fridays and Sundays) to Punta Cana and a new route, from the middle of the month, to Samana, the Dominican northeast peninsula, to the that Air Europea will fly every Saturday until the middle of next September.

The three destinations are operated with its Dreamliner fleet, the most efficient on the market, capable of reducing flight time by 40 minutes, its emissions by 20% and its acoustic impact by 60%.

In addition to this service to the Dominican Republic, the airline belonging to the Globalia group will strengthen its operation between Madrid and Bogotá, going from 3 to 5 weekly flights, also using its modern and efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
